About the role

We are a boutique CA firm that works with growth-stage startups and SMEs. Our work goes beyond compliance. We build financial models, run due diligence, support fundraises, structure transactions and act as the finance team for founders who do not have one yet.

As a Senior Associate at our Bengaluru office, you will run the day-to-day work on client engagements. You will prepare the work, check it before it goes out and guide the articled assistants working with you. You will work closely with the partners and take on more client-facing work as you grow.

What you will do

• Handle Virtual CFO work: bookkeeping reviews, month-end closing, MIS and management reports for a set of clients

• Prepare and file GST, TDS and income tax returns, and handle reconciliations and routine notices

• Manage ROC and secretarial compliance under the Companies Act and LLP Act

• Support financial models, projections and due diligence work

• Prepare FEMA filings such as FC-GPR and FC-TRS

• Assist on statutory and internal audits

• Review the work of articled assistants and help them improve

• Coordinate with clients for data, queries and deadlines

Who we are looking for

• CA Intermediate qualified, with articleship completed and at least 2 years of experience after articleship

• Hands-on with GST, TDS, income tax and ROC compliance

• Strong in Excel and comfortable with accounting software such as Tally or Zoho Books

• Comfortable with numbers that must be exactly right, not roughly right

• Clear in written English. You will write emails and notes that clients read

• Can manage your own deadlines across several clients without reminders
