About the Role:

We are looking for a Senior Associate to join our Kochi office. The ideal candidate will be CA Inter qualified with completed articleship and a strong foundation in audit, accounting, taxation, and compliance. This role involves leading day-to-day operations, mentoring junior team members, coordinating with senior professionals, and interacting directly with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and review the work done by junior team members to ensure accuracy and compliance.

  • Train, guide, and mentor junior associates and articled assistants on accounting, audit, and compliance tasks.

  • Coordinate with seniors and partners to ensure smooth execution of assignments and timely deliverables.

  • Interact directly with clients to understand their requirements, resolve queries, and ensure client satisfaction.

  • Assist in the finalization of accounts, audit documentation, and statutory filings.

  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations under Income Tax, GST, and the Companies Act.

  • Support in preparing MIS, reconciliations, and other analytical reports as required.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • CA Inter Qualified (Both Groups or Single Group with strong experience)

  • Articleship completed from a reputed CA firm

  • Minimum 4 years of total experience including articleship

Hands-on experience in:

  • Audit (Statutory, Tax, and Internal Audits)

  • Accounting and Finalization of Books

  • Taxation and Compliance (GST, TDS, Income Tax, etc.)

Technical Skills:

  • Tally Prime / Tally ERP 9

  • MS Excel (Intermediate to Advanced Level)

  • Zoho Books or similar accounting software

  • Working knowledge of GST and Income Tax Portals

Soft Skills:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Leadership and team management ability

  • Analytical and problem-solving mindset

  • Commitment to deadlines and quality delivery

Compensation:

Salary: As per industry standards

Incentives: Applicable based on delivery, performance, and client feedback

Requirements

Experience: Minimum 4 years (including articleship)
Education: CA Inter Qualified (Both Groups or Single Group with strong experience)

Preferred Skills: Tally Prime / ERP 9, MS Excel (Intermediate to Advanced), Zoho Books or similar software, GST and Income Tax Portal Knowledge
